Jamie Harris Makes It 3 in a row at Horne Park

Horne Park Golf Club hosted their 7th Pro-am on Monday 17th May 2010. The Pro-am is one of the biggest events on the Club’s calendar and is held in memory of Paul & Bill Hurring who were very passionate about the game of golf that is shared with their good friend and the Club’s co owner Neil Burke. With a full field, the day provided excellent weather a fantastically presented golf course that was commented on by not only amateurs but also the professionals that attended the event. An excellent standard of golf was only display, but it was professional Jamie Harris from Nevill Golf Club that stole the show. Not only did he manage to capture 1st Place in the professional’s competition but also he did it in some style with a course record 62, congratulations go out to Jamie for this fantastic achievement. The team competition was also hotly contested and was one by the team from Horsham Golf and fitness which was consisted of Professional Chris Purton, Mark Benny, Ron Waddell and Alex Sansbury which a great score of 117. With the day in memory of Paul & Bill Hurring it was certain that Horne Park and everyone who played on the day gave a great account to that.
