i was extremely lucky to play muirfield on 5th august this year. What can i say....this is one fantastic test of golf.you will need to play every shot and use every club you have in your bag.the condition of the course was great (but what would you expect!!). the thing that sticks in my mind was the bunkering, it is brilliant.Standing on the 4th, i couldnt see any of the 6 bunkers that surronded this superb par 3, and this is from an slightly elevated tee.I play off 6, when i played, it was 161 yards and i flushed a 4 iron and was still short. if you get the chance grab it with both hands and don't let go.
