Chart Hills Golf Club
Chart Hills, which forms the northern boundary of the Weald, derives its name from a series of Royal Charters, the first being issued in 762A.D. On what Faldo called "the perfect piece of land", 200 acres of gently undulating hills with 200 year old oaks, now lies Chart Hills Golf Club.
Four years after the initial concept, Chart Hills was officially opened in August 1993, the first ball being struck by Nick Faldo himself.
With 138 bunkers, 5 different teeing positions and greens so fast that they have been likened to putting on glass, Faldo has created 18 holes each with its own personal characteristics and challenges. Faldo has truly left his mark on the course with some memorable 'signature' features, such as the 200-yard long snake like Anaconda Bunker on the 5th and the island green at the short 17th.

Bunker heaven This course has more than 100 bunkers, so make sure to avoid them if you are going to stay anywhere near par. It has all the facilities you expect of a club of this stature and does not dissapo...
